About the Hudson Valley Chapter of CMSA

Our Mission:
To promote the growth and value of Case Management and support the evolving needs of the Case Management profession, including RN and Social Workers.

Healthcare remains one of the most vital and complex issues in our society. Since 1990, the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) has played an essential role in shaping and advancing the practice of case management—helping patients achieve optimal health outcomes while ensuring timely and cost-effective care.

Founded in 1998, the Hudson Valley Chapter of CMSA (HVCMSA) proudly serves a diverse network of healthcare professionals across Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam and Dutchess Counties in New York. Our chapter is dedicated to professional growth, collaboration, and excellence in case management.

We provide high-quality educational programs aligned with the six core domains of the case management process, offering monthly meetings in partnership with CMSA NERC (Northeast Regional Coalition) that feature expert speakers, relevant topics, and exceptional networking opportunities. Our goal is to continue expanding our membership and strengthening the professional community throughout the Hudson Valley region.

Our chapter website keeps members and colleagues informed about local events, continuing education opportunities, and professional updates. Scroll through to meet our leadership team, view our event calendar, and share member accomplishments and milestones. We also invite you to visit our social media  pages LinkedIn and Facebook.

Reflecting our strong regional identity, HVCMSA proudly features a logo inspired by the Hudson River, whose Lenape name, “Muhheakantuck”—meaning “the river that flows both ways”—symbolizes the two-way exchange of knowledge and support we strive to foster within our profession.
